Don’t stay in the dark. A whole home generator offers peace of mind and comfort for your family.
Safe & Convenient
No wires to connect, no drop cords to run
Whole home generators are connected directly into the electrical service of your home and are set to engage automatically when there is a loss of power. This eliminates the use of drop cords. There is no moving, hauling or pulling to set up any equipment. These units are permanent.
No refueling necessary
Say goodbye to storing gallons of gasoline and having to refuel every few hours. Another benefit of the whole home generator is that it is connected into the LP or Natural Gas supply for your home.
Remote Monitoring
Mobile monitoring gives the homeowner the ability to view the status of their generator at all times. The generator is connected to the home internet network and through an app on your smart device, you can see nearly every detail about your generator. Such as:
If the generator is running because of a power outage
When utility power is restored
If it ran its scheduled exercise cycle
When it is time for your unit to be serviced
If there is a fault or error in your unit
Load Management
Load Management is a feature that can be added to your generator. This feature allows the load of your home to be managed. In most cases, this allows the home to be powered by a smaller generator as the largest loads are isolated and controlled so that they do not engage at the same time. This ensures the generator is never over-loaded.
What is a whole home generator?
A whole home generator is an independent source of power for your home.
What does it Do?
If your home looses power, the generator engages and supplies your home with power until your utility power is restored.
How Does it work?
Our whole home generator systems are connected directly into the electrical service of your home. Once your meter senses a loss of power, it sends a signal to the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) which sends a signal to the generator to produce power.
Power runs from the generator through the transfer switch and into your home.
The equipment can be set up in such a way that you have total use of your home during a power outage.
Once utility power is restored, the Automatic Transfer Switch sends a signal to the generator to disengage. The unit will then run a cool down cycle.
